“In her work with the Human Rights Campaign and other civil rights groups, Lara Schwartz helped elevate real people’s voices and stories, reaching wide and diverse audiences with messages about basic fairness. She has a gift for translating challenging material–from tax policy and constitutional law to what’s expected in college courses–in a way that anyone can understand and relate to. As a speaker, writer, and teacher, she brings passion, humor, and unflinching commitment to honest communication.”

“Lara is one of the brightest legislative lawyers I’ve ever had the pleasure of calling a colleague. While I worked with her at the Human Rights Campaign, Lara's legal research was thorough, her drafting was impeccable, and her ability to digest difficult material was vast. Lara was also able to meet incredibly tight deadlines and work productively with a number of different stakeholders (internal and external) at once.”
